PoE Transformer

PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology is commonly used to transmit electrical power and data over a single Ethernet cable to power and communicate with devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.

One of the main applications of PoE transformers is to isolate the Ethernet signal and the DC voltage used to power the device. This isolation helps to prevent electrical noise and other disturbances from interfering with the device's operation, ensuring reliable and stable communication.

Another application of PoE transformers is to provide DC-to-DC voltage conversion, which is necessary when the voltage required by the device is different from the voltage supplied over the Ethernet cable. In this case, the PoE transformer steps up or steps down the voltage to the appropriate level required by the device.

PoE transformers can also be used to provide surge protection, which helps to protect the device from power surges and other electrical disturbances that can damage the equipment.

Overall, PoE transformers play a critical role in enabling the widespread use of PoE technology in various industries and applications.
