Ceramic inductors are made of small ceramic core which is mainly used as a bobbin to support the coil when the coil is wound; the core used are non-magnetic materials, it can be called “air core inductor”.
It has very low temperature coefficient, and the inductance value is very stable over the operating temperature range. Because there didn’t have magnetic conductive material as a medium, the inductance is very low which is suitable for use in ultra-high frequency circuits.
