Buck inductor current formula

The current formula for a buck inductor can be derived using the basic principles of inductance and voltage.
       
In a buck converter, the inductor is used to store energy when the input voltage is applied and then release it to the output load when the switch is closed. During this process, the current through the inductor changes.    
       
Assuming that the inductor is ideal, with no resistance or capacitance, and that the voltage across the inductor is constant during the switch-on time, the current through the inductor can be calculated using the following formula: 
       
I = (Vin - Vout) * t / L      
       
● I is the inductor current
Vin is the input voltage
Vout is the output voltage
t is the switch-on time
L is the inductance of the inductor.    

       
Note that this formula is only valid during the switch-on time, when the voltage across the inductor is constant. During the switch-off time, the current through the inductor will depend on the output load and the input voltage.
